Commercial Crate Hire supply crates for direct hire or as part of a Commercial Transfer move, with a fully-computerised delivery and collection service to anywhere in the UK. They are also available for long-term crate hire or for purchase.

The crates are all made from strong durable plastic and are able to withstand the rigours of moving. Each type of crate is designed to nest one inside the other when empty and to stack when filled, and where they have integral lids they are shower-proof.

Commercial Crate Hire are also pleased to offer a crate estimating and advisory service to ensure that you are supplied the correct quantity and type of crate and the appropriate ancillary equipment for your project. This service is completely free of charge and without obligation.

Crates for hire

CT1 Standard
Internal dimensions: 598mm x 375mm x 307mm

These are fitted with an integral lid and would usually be used for the general contents of desks, cupboards and cabinets. They can be sealed for security if required. The CT1 crate can accommodate most requirements.

P6 Metre long
Internal dimensions: 1000mm x 365mm x 288mm

These containers are one metre long and do not come equipped with integral lids, but use the stacking bar facility. For general use these are probably a little large but are ideal when moving bulk filing areas or libraries.

P1 Lidded P6
Internal dimensions: 1000mm x 365mm x 288mm

These are essentially the same as a P6 container but they have an integral lid which can be security sealed.

CC1 Computer crate
Internal dimensions: 700mm x 470mm x 470mm

These are large enough to take screens, CPUs and keyboards, together with all cabling. They come equipped with integral lids.
